Our Founding Story

Milay Institute was founded by Ramir Milay and Germaine Wilkom-Milay visionary duo whose combined experience spans biomedical engineering, technical system design, nursing education and continuing professional development. .

Ramir Milay was a former employee of DaVita Dialsys in BioMed and the founder of Milay Mechanical, LLC, a company specializing in the design, installation, and servicing of water purification systems for biotech labs, surgical centers, and healthcare facilities.

Germaine Wilkom-Milay, a Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and Certified Nurse Nephrologist, is also an approved California Board of Registered Nursing Continuing Education Provider (CEP #17567). With deep roots in curriculum development, healthcare training, and regulatory compliance, she brought a healthcare educator’s vision into the heart of Milay Institute.

Together, they created an institution built for workforce readiness—where technical excellence meets clinical rigor.
