Sterile Processing Technician Certificate Program (Virtual)
Program Overview
The Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) Certificate Program prepares you to clean, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical devices that keep patients safe. This program delivers 120 hours of instructor-led, live (synchronous) theory in Milay’s exclusive interactive virtual classroom. Externship or internship is not required to graduate.
The curriculum aligns to the knowledge domains reflected in national certifications (CBSPD/HSPA) and current standards and recommended practices (e.g., AAMI).
Why Milay’s Virtual Classroom Is Different
Milay’s live virtual classroom is a school-built, all-in-one environment designed specifically for healthcare and sterile processing education—so class time is interactive, accountable, and focused on clinical readiness.
Key features
Live engagement tools: real-time polls, knowledge checks, and case prompts embedded throughout class to keep participation high.
Smart attendance & participation tracking: automatic time-in-class capture with instructor verification for clear audit trails.
Integrated assessments: quizzes and exams run inside the session; results flow to a unified gradebook for timely feedback.
Interactive content hub: instrument images, IFU excerpts, standards summaries, and checklists available during class—no hunting for links.
Device-friendly access: join securely from a computer or mobile device with camera/mic for active participation.
Progress analytics: dashboards help you and your instructor pinpoint topics for targeted reteaching before high-stakes exams.
